Help with grief and loss for those in Watford, St Albans, Bushey, Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire & the surrounding areas.

If you have suffered the loss of a loved one you will be acutely aware of just how painful it can be. Grief, although temporary, can feel like a debilitating emotion and the sense of loneliness can seem all-pervading.

Bereavement itself is the period of mourning and grief after a death. When you are greiving, it is simply the normal part of the process in reacting to a loss. You may experience a number of reactions, i.e mental, physical, social or emotional responses which can include anger, guilt, anxiety, general sadness or despair. Physical reactions can include illness, sleeping problems, loss of appetite etc.

The duration of bereavement may depend on how close you were to the person who passed away, if their death was expected and other possible factors. Friends and family may at this time be a valuable source of support but I can help you overcome your grief and put you back in control of your life and the experiences in it.

How the Thrive Programme can help…

ThriveProgramme Logo New RGB LargeThe Thrive Programme is an amazing psychological training programme that gives you the insight and understanding into your psychological foundations and how you can improve them. The feeling of being out of control whilst grieving for a loved one is part of one of the foundations known as ‘Locus of Control’ which is essentially how powerful you feel in relation to the events and experiences in your life. Establishing and maintaining a powerful sense of control over your environment, alongside other foundation improvements, can be the key to overcoming your grief and turning your life around, enabling you to be happier than you believed you could be.

Discover how to completely change the way you think and feel about yourself and challenging situations – enabling you to live a happier, more successful and positive life.

When you absolutely understand how your mind operates, such as the interaction between your thinking, beliefs, personality and feelings, you will feel much more empowered and in control. When you recognise that almost all of your worries, stresses, problems and symptoms are either created, maintained or worsened by poorly managed thinking, you will feel fabulously empowered……..and because YOU created these problems then YOU can change them !

The Thrive Programme will provide you with amazing personal insight, allowing you to totally change any limiting belief systems that are adversely affecting your life. You will discover what styles of thinking are causing you problems: Do you catastrophise? Do you obsess and brood about things? Are you negative and always anticipate the worst case scenrio in forthcoming situations? I will also prove to you what a huge part your imagination plays in both causing and resolving problems and symptoms. Significant improvements in these areas can help you overcome your sense of despair and free you to regain control of your emotions, thoughts and feelings and, therefore, your life.
