Unable to orgasm or climax ?
Treatment for Anorgasmia : Serving Watford, Bushey, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Hertfordshire & the surrounding areas.
Delicate or private issues can be more challenging for people to seek help for and discuss but are remarkably common in both women and men. At the Herts Thrive & Hypnotherapy Clinic you can rest assured that sexual problems are regularly treated and are always dealt with in a sensitive and professional manner.
Anorgasmia, also known as Coughlan’s Syndrome or simply the inability to orgasm/climax, is a type of sexual dysfunction. In males is it closely associated with the uncommon ‘Delayed Ejaculation’ but it is a far more frequent complaint in females. Generally there may be no obvious reason why orgasm fails to take place. In many cases women have reported that they have skilled and attentive partners, adequate time and privacy and an absence of medical issues that could potentially affect their levels of excitement. The attention/skill level of one’s partner is not necessarily linked to a woman’s comfort level so primary anorgasmia should not be regarded as a mystery. Anorgasmia is branded into three main types;
- Primary Anorgasmia – this first type refers to those who have never experienced an orgasm. Women with this condition often achieve a relatively low level of sexual arousal.
- Secondary anorgasmia – as opposed to primary anorgasmia, secondary anorgasmia is the loss of the ability to achieve orgasm, having once possessed it.
- Situational Anorgasmia -refers to people who are able to achieve orgasm in certain situations but not in others.
The Thrive Programme for treating Anorgasmia and other sexual problems
If you would like to be completely in control of your thoughts and feelings in sexual situation then I can help. Working together, we would improve your self esteem and change the beliefs you hold about yourself in these situations. As an example, anorgasmia is essentially caused by the belief and expectancy that the problem will reoccur, which is enough to make it happen.
The Thrive Programme is a revolutionary and hugely successful training programme that helps you to understand that your beliefs, personality and styles of thinking are causing the problem. Generally, from the clients I have treated, most sexual problems are caused by such factors as self esteem issues, social anxiety and feeling on the spot (performance anxiety) in the bedroom. A large factor is simply expecting the experience to be a disappointment or unsuccessful can prove to be a self fulfilling prophecy. Often, issues within the dynamics of a relationship can overflow into the bedroom, where further problems can develop.
Fortunately, once you have the insight to understand how you may be creating the anxiety behind the problem, it can be amazingly easy to think differently and change the old patterns of behaviour and regain that control.
When you absolutely understand how your mind operates, such as the interaction between your thinking, beliefs, personality and feelings, you will feel much more empowered and in control. When you recognise that almost all of your worries, stresses, problems and symptoms are either created, maintained or worsened by poorly managed thinking, you will feel fabulously empowered……..and because YOU created these problems then YOU can change them !
